Director - Wales, Animal Health

To £70,000  (Reference AH3278 )

About the role

We employ approximately 1600 people based in locations all over Great Britain. This geographic spread means that we can respond quickly to issues wherever they may occur and we gain an important insight into the local farming community and their practices. Just over one third of our people work in the field and half of those are qualified veterinarians. This means that we have a unique wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to draw upon.

We are currently implementing a major reform programme, based on the development of new information systems, to achieve significant change in the way we deliver services. These are challenging and exciting times that will provide successful candidates with interesting projects to deliver and a wide range of opportunities to further develop their skills and experience.

How to apply

To apply, please forward an up-to-date CV together with a supporting statement.  This supporting statement should outline how you satisfy the points made in the person specification.

For candidates invited to interview, these responses will be explored further together with the other elements of the person specification.

Please send your completed application together with a response to the equal opportunities section within the application form to: mike.phillips@pentir.com quoting the reference number AH/3278

The Process

We will treat all enquiries, formal and informal, in confidence.

The closing date for applications is Monday 5th October 2009

All applications received will be reviewed.  Those that most closely manage the specification will be invited to Initial interview with Pentir Talent Solutions.  Shortlisted candidates will have an opportunity to meet with key Animal Health staff in advance of the final interview.  The dates for interview will be communicated to potential candidates as soon as they are confirmed.
